The Medical Assistant-Phlebotomist Training program is an intensive 10-week program that provides students the skills necessary to draw blood specimens for testing purposes, qualifying them for entry-level work in the phlebotomy field.
Mandatory 54-hour course required for those who wish to become licensed as a Washington State Adult Family Home owner. Additional training requirements include successful completion of the one-day Department of Social and Health Services (DSHS) AFH Orientation and the ability to pass a CASAS exam.
This course expands upon the skills and knowledge of the Home Care Aide Certified or Medical Assistant Certified offering 24 hours of advanced theory and skills training required to sit for the NACES exam.
This 33-hour online course is intended for a registered nurses (RN), cardiovascular therapists (CVT) and respiratory therapists (RT) currently employed in a catheterization lab with two years of experience or any graduate from an accredited CVT program. Review I and II may be taken in any order.
This is an Alternative Training opportunity for licensed providers (such as licensed mental health counselors and other health care providers). The 15-credit online program meets the educational requirements for Alternative Training (WAC 246-811) for Substance Use Disorder Professional.
