SMS Terms & Conditions

SMS Terms & Conditions

Program Name

Spokane Colleges (Washington State Community College District 17)

Program Description

By opting in, you agree to receive Short Message Service (SMS) messages from Spokane Colleges related to enrollment/registration, events, and reminders from Spokane Community College (SCC), Spokane Falls Community College (SFCC), and the district.

Opt-In Consent (FCC One-to-One Consent Rule)

By submitting your mobile number through our website, and particularly when choosing to submit our inquiry form and clicking the optional “Yes, opt-in” box for texting, you provide express one-to-one consent to receive text messages from Spokane Colleges. Consent cannot be shared, transferred, or obtained through third parties.

Opt-Out Instructions

You may cancel SMS messages at any time, for any inbox/phone line, by replying STOP via text. After texting STOP, you will receive a confirmation message and will no longer receive SMS messages from us at that inbox/phone line. Opt-out is controlled by inbox/phone line, so you may opt to continue receiving messages from some departments and not others.

Rejoin Instructions

To rejoin, simply opt in again through any approved method (e.g. inquiry form) or reply JOIN to any campaign you previously opted-out of. Upon re-enrollment, messages will resume.

Help/Support Instructions

For help, reply HELP or contact the Spokane Colleges Marketing and Communications team at ccs.info@ccs.spokane.edu

Message & Data Rates

Message and data rates may apply. Message frequency varies. For questions about your text or data plan, contact your wireless provider.

Carrier Liability Disclaimer

Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

User Eligibility

You must be the account holder or have permission from the account holder to enroll a mobile number in the Program.

Privacy Policy

Your mobile information will not be shared, sold, or transferred to third parties for marketing or promotional purposes. Opt-in data and consent will not be shared with any third parties except for vendors necessary to provide SMS services (e.g. messaging aggregators).
