The Spokane Falls Community College drama department is staging a production of “The Madwoman of Chaillot” at 7:30 p.m. Thursday-Saturday, Nov. 12 – 21 and 2 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 15 and 22, in the Spartan Theater, located in the SFCC Humanities Building.

General admission is $10 at the door, and SFCC students are admitted free. There are no reserved seats but the box office opens 30 minutes before performances, and the seating is festival style. Sunday, Nov. 15, is a benefit for the SFCC food bank: All it takes is a donated nonperishable food item and $1 to get you into the performance.

“The Madwoman of Chaillot,” written by Jean Giraudoux, is a mid-20th century French Impressionist fantasy where those on the fringes of life try to save the world.
