New student:
If you've never attended SFCC or SCC for credit classes:

STEP 1: Obtain an application for
admission
from the SFCC Admissions Office, a high school counselor or apply online.
Complete the application and remit with $25 nonrefundable fee to:

STEP 2: Official transcripts from other colleges should be sent to the above address. These must be received before registration.

Coursework from other colleges may be used to verify math and English skills, to satisfy prerequisite and degree requirements or for general advising purposes when an official transcript is received by SFCC in the original sealed envelope.
STEP 3: Follow the steps for testing and orientation outlined in your admission letter. All first-time college students must complete assessment testing and a New Student Orientation to register for classes. Students who complete these steps early receive priority registration dates. There is a $30 fee for all testing.

STEP 4: After completing registration, you have the following options for tuition and fee payments:

in person at the SFCC Cashiers Office, SUB, Bldg. 17, or in the payment drop box outside Bldg. 17's northeast door.

Pay your tuition by the due date. Paying  tuition by mail is not advised because we may not receive and process your payment by the due date.
STEP 5: If you originally applied for a different quarter than you expected to attend, contact the Admissions Office to update your records.
Former student:
If you've previously attended SFCC or SCC for credit classes:
